Believe it or not, I do understand why it won. Uli's dress was definitely more classically beautiful, but Jeffrey (who I despise) took more risks and made it work. Not that the French model was helping him out by looking like the dress was wearing her instead of the other way around.
Of course I wouldn't actually want to wear Jeffrey's dress :-)
gotta disagree. I don't think Uli was robbed here. I would have picked Jeffreys dress as the qualifier for this challenge. (I did, and I can't stand J as a person). Uli's dress was pretty, but not couture. Uli's dress could be had off the rack at any upscale dept store.
You're right - J's was more couture; I think I've just let me own feelings about him and love for Uli's dress cloud my opinions. His did have more couture elements, so yes, I suppose he did sort of deserve the win (now that I've had a week to mull it over). Still, why isn't Uil winning? Fingers crossed that tonight is her night.
I'm lots of people - Mitch's wife, Ethan's mom, a writer, an editor, writing teacher, Irish step dancer, compulsive reader, grammar pedant, music trivia geek...

That is just sad.
